name: Nicholas Parsons
nickname: The Yeti
date of birth/zodiac: 05/23/1982
hometown: Bountiful, UT
my CAMARO equipment: Impact Vest and Modetec Wetsuits
diciplines: Slalom

    I’m equipped by CAMARO

    Why did you choose CAMARO?
Camaro’s suits are sport specific designed for waterskiing. No other wetsuit company designs specifically for high level competition waterskiing. They out perform every other vest and suit I’ve tried.

Three things I carry ALWAYS with me when water skiing:
My impact vest, Modetec Skin Pro Top, and my Modetec skin Mono Longsleeve Pro suit. When you travel the world for the Pro Tour you need to be prepared for inclement weather.

    I love water skiing since…
I was a boy.  Waterskiing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and I can’t imagine waterskiing not being my life.

I started water skiing because of…
My father.  My father loved the sport and has been apart of the sport for a long time.  It was only natural that he taught me.

    Water skiing means to me…
To me waterskiing is everything.  It is my day to day life. It is my passion.  Waterskiing consumes me.

    My biggest goal…
While some of my goals have changed since I first started to ski on the pro tour my primary goal has not. It has always been to simply just win.  The focus of my goals has changed now to being a World Champion.  Being that I am in the prime of my career this is my primary focus and goal.

What is your winter training location?
I have been winter training at Sunset Ranch in Sacramento, California for the past 10 years.

What is your favourite location for water skiing?
Sunten Ski Lakes.  My home site near Tooele, Utah.

Do you have an idol? If so, who is it?
I’ve always looked up to Pro Tour competitors that competed before me but never considered them my idols.

My favourite word for water is…

There is nothing better in this world than…
seeing a perfect reflection on a sheet of glass.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Still competing and being active in waterskiing but not as much as I am now. Hopefully teaching a son or daughter how to ski.

    What is your motto?
I will find a way to win.

Do you have a good tip for someone who wants to learn water skiing?
The best way to start is to either join a club or find a ski school.
